Learn to Learn Better: Building Stronger Minds This Holiday

Executive Function | Singapore | Learn to learn better skills

As parents, we all want our children to do well in school to focus better, plan ahead, manage their emotions, and take responsibility for their learning. But behind every high-performing, confident student lies something deeper than intelligence, it’s Executive Function (EF) skills

At Total Communication Therapy, we believe that strong EF skills are the cornerstone of academic success, independence, and emotional resilience.

That’s why this holiday season, we’re inviting students aged 10 to 16 to join our Executive Function Skills Holiday Camp, a 4-day immersive programme designed to help children learn how to learn better.

Why Executive Function Skills Matter

Executive Function refers to the mental processes that enable us to plan, focus attention, remember instructions, and juggle multiple tasks successfully. For students, these skills form the foundation for everyday academic and life success.

Children with well-developed EF skills can:

  • Focus and pay attention during class

  • Stay organised and manage tasks independently

  • Regulate their emotions and behaviour effectively

  • Approach challenges with flexibility and confidence

  • Improve their performance in exams and schoolwork

Yet, these crucial skills aren’t always taught explicitly in school. That’s where our camp comes in.
