Activities for Motor Skills

Children will learn multi-sensory strategies to improve postural control, upper body strength and stability, fine motor skills and manipulation, visual perceptual skills, and eye-hand coordination. All of which are necessary for handwriting.

The group is ideal for children who struggle with anxiety, anger, or finding the right activity level for the tasks they need to do. The group is also suitable for children who have ADHD or Autism.

They learn how to handle and manage these emotions. Our Safe Place is a corner in which children go to experience feeling from an unhappy agitated mode to an emotional equilibrium.
Activities for Social Skills

Developed for individuals aged 16 years old and above, this program aims to assist them in preparing for transition from school to the work environment. Its goal is to equip these teens and young adults with not only job knowledge and work skills, but also the appropriate attitude and disposition that are necessary in the workplace.

Conducted by our Speech Language Pathologist, the programme is for those who are aged 7 to 14 years, who are encountering dysfluencies and stuttering. Sessions are carried out in groups and individually.

Auditory processing refers to the process of our brains recognising and interpreting sounds. When a person has Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD), the part of the brain that translates what the ear delivers is disrupted. A person with CAPD has normal hearing but has difficulty processing auditory stimuli.

This workshop will focus on supporting children in reading comprehension through guided reading, reflection, and teaching strategies & skills.

Designed for children from ages 5 to 6, the class provides excellent preparatory foundations for those entering formal schooling.

The Seeing Stars program (Lindamood-Bell) develops the ability to visualise sounds and letters witin words for both phonological and orthographic processing
