Kerensa Chew

Speech-Language Pathologist

Kerensa chew was born and raised in Singapore. Kerensa studied Linguistics and Multilingual Studies at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and Speech and Language Pathology at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

 

She developed an early interest in helping in the community, engaging with people young and old, and assisting individuals with communication and social needs. Kerensa is a mother of a young child who enjoys playing with her child and allowing him to learn more about himself and engage with a larger community.  She also loves animals and is the delighted owner of a cat.

 

Working with kids as young as 3 years at Total Communication, Kerensa specializes in social-communication issues, language delays and disorders, and speech sound impairments. She has previous experience in the community setting with the Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children (EIPIC) and has worked in a team with diverse specialists such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and social workers.

 

Additionally, Kerensa is certified in Hanen's More Than Words curriculum.

 

She is a foodie and likes reading in her leisure time in addition to playing with her child and cat
