Activities for Social Skills
Developed for individuals aged 16 years old and above, this program aims to assist them in preparing for transition from school to the work environment. Its goal is to equip these teens and young adults with not only job knowledge and work skills, but also the appropriate attitude and disposition that are necessary in the workplace.
Conducted by our Speech Language Pathologist, the programme is for those who are aged 7 to 14 years, who are encountering dysfluencies and stuttering. Sessions are carried out in groups and individually.
Auditory processing refers to the process of our brains recognising and interpreting sounds. When a person has Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD), the part of the brain that translates what the ear delivers is disrupted. A person with CAPD has normal hearing but has difficulty processing auditory stimuli.
This workshop will focus on supporting children in reading comprehension through guided reading, reflection, and teaching strategies & skills.
Designed for children from ages 5 to 6, the class provides excellent preparatory foundations for those entering formal schooling.
