About Us

In September 2009, we moved our practice at Rochester Park to Sime Darby Centre at Dunearn Road. With the move, along with the addition of key Speech Language Pathologists and Special Education Teachers with different skill sets, we are set to take on a much more seamless approach that merges allied health needs with educational remediation for both the International and Singaporean population.

p1 Prudence Low
Speech Language Pathologist (Director)
BA English (Univ. of London) Postgrad Speech Sc. (Macquarie University, Sydney)
Master of Speech Pathology Studies (University of Queensland)
Prudence is a Speech Language Pathologist specialising in working with pediatric and adolescents with speech and language disorders. She has trained and worked in a variety of clinical and school settings in both Queensland (Australia) and Singapore. In end 2009, Prudence extended her practice by moving into Sime Darby Centre at Dunearn Road with the objective of gathering a team of dedicated and highly skilled speech language pathologists and teaching professionals to work together.

Prudence’s caseload comprises of both international and local school children with articulation and phonological difficulties, motor speech disorders (e.g. dysarthria and dyspraxia), specific language impairment and central auditory processing disorder. In intervention, Prudence believes in integrating her understanding of the requirements of different school curriculum with language therapy. Facilitating critical thinking skills along with language remediation has always been the cornerstone of her practice.

Prudence’s previous background as a certified practitioner of RDI (Relationship Development Intervention) has made a difference to the way she looks at different cases. RDI has allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of typical cognitive development stages of every human being and the complexities that are brought about by disruption in the cognitive development process. Also an effective practitioner of PROMPT (Prompt for Restructuring of Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets), Prudence aims to bring a holistic approach to complex disorders.

Prudence is a member of Speech Pathology Australia and The Speech and hearing Association of Singapore.

p1 Lisa Lim Su Li
Speech Language Pathologist
BSc Speech Pathology (University of Sydney)
Master of Applied Science by Research (University of Sydney)
Lisa Lim brings her past experience and dedication in working as a speech language pathologist in a pediatric hospital setting to our practice. In the past, Lisa has worked with children with global developmental delay and syndromes as well as neurotypical children with speech and language difficulties.

Lisa has also recently completed her research project with the University of Sydney looking into the literacy differences of those with Down’s syndrome. Her knowledge gleaned from her research studies has allowed her to deal with literacy issues (such as Dyslexia) of school aged children effectively.

Lisa’s current areas of practice include assessing and intervening in children with feeding and swallowing disorders, sensory disorders, language delay and disorders as well as articulation and phonological difficulties. With her strong training and knowledge background of fluency (stutter) management, Lisa is also in a position to help children and adolescents overcome their stuttering difficulties.

Trained in Sara Rosenfeld-Johnson’s oral- motor therapy by TalkTools®, Lisa found this a useful tool in helping her manage cases of children who have concurrent feeding and sensory difficulties. Overcoming these issues is sometimes a precursor in helping the child gain impetus in meeting other communication milestones.

Lisa is a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
